Ecovillage Living

Francoise Ducroz

Findhorn Foundation Resource Person

Here, on a happy day in 2019 at Cluny College in Forres, I am sorting freshly picked berries for Friday night dinner for guests and residents. This is my first gooseberry fool ever! It was creamy, sweet and tart.

Five years later, and a lot has happened since that picture was taken. The Findhorn Foundation was dissolved and reborn into a much smaller entity, and the eco-village, I hear, is more vibrant than ever.

What kind of workshops will you be hosting?
We will focus on providing experiences that allow participants to connect with each other and nature and explore our core principles as a way of being in the world. This year, we are planning to offer spiritual retreats at our facility on the Isle of Iona and an Experience Week at our community on the Isle of Erraid, where participants will explore our core principles in the company of our island community.

The original eco-village, 60 years in the making

‘The role of Findhorn is to help humanity turn within and be part of the solution to the chaos and confusion in the world.’
